BCW Dave Van Dam: ok...Q-Ball.....how long have you been a fan of wrestling?
BGusters: well...id say since i was7 or 8
BGusters: i always tried to watch it when it was on regular tv
BCW Dave Van Dam: watching wrestling....was that what made you decide to start backyard wrestling too?
BGusters: oh yeah.
BGusters: i would always wrestle with my friends on birthdays
BCW Dave Van Dam: So...you ran EBW (Extreme Backyard Wrestling).......and it lasted for a year or two.....what was
EBW like?
BGusters: well EBW was like a group of guys that loved wrestling and liked to fight
BGusters: but controlled fighting is always better than the real thing
BGusters: so thats basiclly what it was in the beggining
BCW Dave Van Dam: and then what?
BGusters: we started to put our heads together
BGusters: and said we can be like the WWF...only switch it up a little
BGusters: with more weapons
BGusters: and stuff like that
BGusters: florescent lights
BCW Dave Van Dam: Murder 1 was saying that EBW had no politics or backstage "heat" or any problems at all
in his chat?.....is this all true.....?.....i think i'm not the only one who finds this hard to believe.....especially since

BCW Dave Van Dam: was in your fed
BGusters: well there was no "politcs" so to speak...just dissagreements.
BCW Dave Van Dam: explain on
BGusters: and it was common sense if the main eventers were on top at the time.....there would come a time where
they would have to step down to let the mid carders come up

IronKnucklez: Did you feel that EBW was somewhat looked down upon when entering both BCW and PAW, and what where
your impressions on working with the UGWA and BCW talent from the attitudes you saw to begin with from each wrestler?
BGusters: wow um
BGusters: yeah i do think that EBW was looked down upon in PAW
IronKnucklez: like who did u know you could work with attitude wise and who did u think you wouldn't be able to
BGusters: but i think me and roy proved ourselves in our tryout match...dont you think so?
IronKnucklez: i think you guys proved you were hardcore
BGusters: well noone was comming off as a person that i didnt want to work with...but one person that i know was....you
know that insane pane guy?
IronKnucklez: yeah
BGusters: he acted like he was such a big shot on the net
BGusters: but when he saw me that next week in the flesh...he had nothing to say.
BCW Dave Van Dam: thats PAW for you
BGusters: and onto the other "real" backyard feds! BCW and UGWA
BGusters: all the guys were real cool with us
BGusters: like i remember our first meeting with the UGWA guys, slash and GWAR
BGusters: they were real strsight foward....but still down to the cool level
BGusters: did i get them all for ya pablo?

BCW Dave Van Dam: Q-Ball......when the whole stealing
incident in UWC occured....and EBW was kicked out......did you and your guys think that ...that was the end of your backyard
careers?.........and how did it feel to be welcomed with open arms to
BCW Dave Van Dam: BCW
BCW Dave Van Dam: ?
BGusters: well me and roy talked about that as soon as
it happened...and roy instntly gave me the answer that this guy named Anthony did it
BGusters: and i dont mean slash anthony either
BGusters: yeah were were like....damn now we got to go back to the grass or just quit altogether
BGusters: and roy was having a hard time at the time dealing with wrestling on the trampoline, but still wanted
to watch because he had heard so much good stuff about BCW
BGusters: and then we meet his guy named dave after that last BCW show and he asks us to come and wrestle right
away.
BGusters: im sorry not BCW
BGusters: PAW
BGusters: sorry
BGusters: and there you have it......i guess roy
automatically was recruited to BCW because of his alliance with GWAR
BGusters: and i Wrestled GWAR in my first match
BGusters: so yeah
BCW Dave Van Dam: what was your 1st impression of BCW and did anything you expected be different as you became one
of us?
BGusters: well....my first inpression was a good one because i was really entertained when i was watching matches
BGusters: and that would be a good thing because i was
a part of that now. where i myself could entertain was well.
BGusters: and i was awaiting my battle with the
Ironman. ha
BGusters: the transision was pretty smooth
BGusters: mostly everyone knew my name after that hardcore match with Murder 1.
BCW Dave Van Dam: some guys when trying to find a fault in BCW...they point out Roc and Dave Van Dam.....only because
of their gimmicked names and persona's.......i know the UGWA has done that before.....does that sort of thing matter to you?
BGusters: well...to be perfectly honest with you....you cant go wrong with a little copying...but it would be best
to be original...
BGusters: the Dave Van Dam/Roc character is taken, but is still entertaining to watch....so whatever floats the boat
is what makes it to the other side if you catch my drift.
BCW Dave Van Dam: ok.....lets see what some of your favorites are....

decision of either having you become the new European
champion or the Heavyweight champ was going on?
IronKnucklez: Cause I know you were going to have
either one depending on Gwar Machine's appearance
BGusters: well i was actually scheduled to wrestle Roc
at BSC 2002 until on saturday show dave just points at
me....Points me out!...and says...YOU! youre gonna win it
BGusters: and i was like what?
BGusters: the KOTT dave says
BGusters: and i was like ...but i thought........oh
well ok
BGusters: so that was that
BGusters: i was pretty excited
BGusters: and the day of the KOTT when perple were in
the audience were trying to figure out the tournmaent
BGusters: becaus you kneo they cant wait abd see what
happens.and im not gonna name any names....(lela, roy,
patricia, etc)..but yeah.

BGusters: well my proudest monent and most rememorable
moment, and most embarrissing moment were all in the same
PPV, KOTT 2002

BGusters: i won the tournament and won the BCW European
championship, and i got a serious cane shot to the nuts
while watching a match

bond video game
BGusters: so i guess they all happened at once
BGusters: plus being in the main event at
Wrestlepalooza was an experience all in its own.

Dave, to make every BCW show since joining the fed....do
you think your push came to soon...or you deserved what you
got...or that you deserved a little more for what how much
you contributed to BCW?
BGusters: all of those have pluses and negatives dave
actually
BGusters: the making every show thing is up to me
because i cared
BGusters: the push too soon thing hindered other EBW
stars because they didnt htink the were getting the
exposure they needed.
BGusters: but it was good for me...i think it was great
BGusters: and the little more deserved thing....well
yes and no
BGusters: i wanna be on top. but if im not just
yet...that just gives the viewers a reason to watch even
more to see when i do reach the top.
BCW Dave Van Dam: don't you agree that the reason the
other EBW guys didn't get the exposure they wanted is
because they only showed up on the average of once a month?
BGusters: true
BGusters: there loopholes around that but everybodys
wishes cant be granted.
BGusters: i totally agree
BCW Dave Van Dam: Which wrestler are you most
comfortable and most uncomfortable with wrestling? and
why?
BGusters: well....i am most confrotable with a few
people and there isnt many im not confortable with.
BGusters: its ok of a few hard shots...but no to much
BGusters: like TRU
BGusters: he is a wild wrestler
BGusters: those feet and legs go everywhere
BGusters: while Van Dam communicates more and flows
with everything
BCW Dave Van Dam: i see...well we have yet another

BGusters: so id say the ones that care more about the buisness, i work with better
BGusters: alright

IronKnucklez: I was wondering if you thought that the
line up for the cards was good, I noticed that the cards
revolved around certain wrestlers, did that bother you?
BGusters: well something that involves me is always
good....but there have been some times where i could have
said something to liven up the scene in my own way, but i
thought about it the head guys knew what they were doing
BGusters: too much exposure is a bad thing though. it
gets people talking.
IronKnucklez: can you give any examples
BGusters: sharing is caring...but altogether though
IronKnucklez: ur being pretty general
BGusters: hmm
BGusters: like making the wrestlepalooza main event a
"fed elimination" style match
BGusters: thats the only one i could think of right
now
BGusters: too many chair shots
BGusters: and i think that everyone that has a title
should at least be entitled to one successful title defense
BGusters: and it was like that for the most reasons

BGusters: can i add something to that?
BCW Dave Van Dam: ok.....Q-Ball......if you had to pick
one promoter to leave all the storyline stuff to...which
BCW wrestler would u want to do it and why?
BCW Dave Van Dam: go aheaed
BGusters: titles shouldnt be just passed around for
any reason....there has to be a suitable reason
BGusters: like the whole DVD becomming the EBW
champ...that was something that livened up the scene....but
we forgot that he had just had a title before that, but hey
sometimes...things have to be done like that.
BGusters: as long as i could be fixed in the end...its
cool.
BGusters: ok onto that question
BCW Dave Van Dam: by the way...before the EBW title
reign in January....the last title Dave held was back in
September
BGusters: oh is that right
BGusters: (smiles)

BGusters: i think that dave was running it just
fine....but i will say that if me and roy and slash sat
down with you and did everything....there would be some
good stuff

change?
BGusters: well
BGusters: roy being more in the title hunt anyways,
BGusters: reguardless of attendence...like on the same
boat as korupt
BGusters: Q-Ball and Murder 1 as a tag team..against
the TAG Champs
BGusters: everything else was cool
BGusters: except for team canada

BGusters: and that whole paul joining them...scrap that
BCW Dave Van Dam: that wasn't a BCW storyline

BGusters: i wanted it scraped
BGusters: and i wish i could erase that whole rape
scene at that one show where scrilla came from the east

corner....it will be our first show in a real ring...can
you believe or did u ever think that BCW would evolve from
a weak tramp fed to the best in the bay area to having our
own DVD release to a pro

old and look back on all this good stuff and say " we were
